The Tales of the Underbanks writing competition was held between 7th December 2021 and 21st January 2022. We received over 30 amazing short stories in the under 18s and over 18s categories.
Our over 18s winners were:
1st Place- Louise Mulvey with ‘The Silkworm’
2nd Place- Alex Jackson with ‘Vade Retro Santana’
Joint 3rd Place- Peter Devonald with ‘Winters Clock’ and Angela Walsh with ‘In this town are rivers’
Our under 18s winners were:
1st Place- Sam Cassin with ‘Home Sweet Home’
2nd Place- Anamika Chow with ‘The Devil’s Steps’
The brilliant entries are going to be included in an Underbanks Anthology! Keep your eyes peeled for further updates.
