Exciting news as 13 Little Underbank begins work to restore and reinstate the Grade II listed building. Works will involve both internal and external repairs in attempt to bring the building back to its former glory.

The property currently comprises of a retail unit on the ground floor, a restaurant on the first floor and the second floor currently vacant. The tenants have moved out temporarily but will be back in when the works to those floors are complete.

The property is owned by Creative Bloc Ltd who, with National Lottery Heritage Fund grant, intend to undergo significant restoration works at the property that will enable, amongst other things, the second floor to be brought back in to use as an architects practise and co-working space.

Work will also involve the removal of the 1960’s shop front and the reinstatement of 3 stone arches at the ground floor that are currently hidden by the Age UK facia signage.

The project is scheduled for completion early next year and disruption will be kept to a minimum.

As the project progresses, images will be uploaded on our gallery page to document the transformation.
